GlenDronach Traditionally Peated is a peated Highland single malt bottled at 48%. Rachel Barrie created it using principles and methods close to those of the distillery's founder, James Allardice, who worked nearly two hundred years ago, when Highland distillers dried malted barley over peat fires. The whisky is matured in a combination of Pedro Ximénez, Oloroso and Port casks and has a golden colour. On the nose there are toffee, honey and smoke. The palate brings spicy notes of orange and cloves, with the smoke sitting comfortably alongside. Liquorice and dark fruits come through in a long, lingering finish.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
