A ten-year-old Speyside single malt from Glenfarclas, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It has a golden colour and sherry cask influence.
It is described as having more flavour and complexity than many other ten-year-old whiskies, and as an elegant dram to enjoy after dinner.
The nose combines sherry and nuts with a little smoke. On the palate it is approachable and dry, with dried fruit, caramel, tart notes and a touch of smoke. The finish brings more spice and oak, then a long, honeyed sweetness.
