Glenfarclas 10 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from the family-run Glenfarclas distillery, which has been independent since 1860. This bottle belongs to the Flower of Scotland Collection, in the edition called "A Force of Nature", and comes in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV.
The whisky is made with melt water from the slopes of Ben Rinnes and matured in oak casks.
The nose is rich with malt, orchard fruit and gentle spice. The palate is smooth and sweet, with vanilla and soft oak, and the finish is long and warming with sherry undertones.
