Glenfarclas 10 Years is a Speyside single malt that spends all ten years of its maturation in Oloroso sherry casks. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtration or added colour.
The nose combines sherry sweetness and malt with a delicate note of smoke. Warming the glass brings out honey, vanilla and pear. On the palate it is light, with malt, smoke and sherry sweetness, plus touches of dried fruit, vanilla, cinnamon and cloves. The finish is long, soft and spicy, with a faint trace of smoke.
