Glenfarclas – 10 Years (70cl)

Glenfarclas 10 Years is a Highland single malt matured for ten years in ex-oloroso sherry casks. The distillery takes its name from the Gaelic for valley of green grass. The oloroso casks give a soft texture, with a depth of flavour more often expected of an older whisky. The nose is herbal, with honey and caramel. The palate is soft and lightly smoky, with caramel, dried fruit, vanilla and red berries. The finish is long, fading to pepper and oak.
