Glenfarclas 105 is a cask-strength Speyside single malt in a 750ml bottle, bottled at 60% ABV (105 British proof). It was first released in 1968, and the distillery at Ballindalloch has been owned and run by the Grant family for six generations.
The whisky is matured in European oak sherry casks and bottled without chill filtration.
The nose is sweet sherry and caramel with apple, pear and dark toffee. The palate is dry and assertive, with dark chocolate, roasted nuts and cinnamon spice. The finish is long and warming, with toasted almonds, oak tannins and a thread of smoke.
