Glenfarclas 12 Year Old is a Scotch whisky from the Grant family, who have run the Glenfarclas distillery for six generations. It is matured in Oloroso sherry casks, comes in a 100cl bottle and has a bright amber colour.
The nose is warm, with dried fruit, sweet spice, a slight hint of peat and a thin veil of chocolate and caramel. The palate is soft and smooth, adding vanilla and toasted malt. The finish is long, with sweet spice and light smokiness.
