Glenfarclas 12 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from Speyside, bottled at 43% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is matured entirely in Oloroso sherry casks, which give it a pronounced sherry influence.
On the nose there are fresh apples, honey and sherry, with light oak and hints of butterscotch. The palate is smooth and medium-bodied, with dried fruits, vanilla and malt, plus a touch of smoke.
The finish is long, clean and warming, with lingering sweetness and a gentle nutty spice.
