This is a 12 year old Speyside single malt from Glenfarclas, matured in sherry casks and bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It has a bronze colour and is, for many, the best known Glenfarclas.
The nose is dry and assertive. The palate is oily and full of flavour, with malty notes and dried fruit, and the finish lets the oak of the casks come through.
