Glenfarclas – 12 Year Single Malt Scotch Whisky (75cl, 43%)

Glenfarclas 12 Year is a single malt Scotch whisky from Ballindalloch in Speyside, at the foot of Ben Rinnes. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The whisky is aged for twelve years entirely in Oloroso sherry casks, which is how the distillery matures its aged range. Glenfarclas has been owned by the Grant family, J&G Grant, since 1865, and its spirit comes from six direct-fired stills. The nose is fresh sherried fruit with spicy sweetness and sappy oak. The palate is full-bodied, with sherried fruit. The finish is long and flavoursome, with spice lingering.
