Glenfarclas 12 is a single malt from Speyside, aged for 12 years in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks.
The mouthfeel is smooth and creamy. The sherry casks add a gentle sweetness to the flavour of dried fruit, such as raisins and sultanas, with honey, vanilla and a hint of spice.
The finish is medium to long, with a warm, lingering sweetness and gentle spice.
