Glenfarclas 15 Year Old is a Speyside single malt, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was aged entirely in Oloroso sherry casks, and the distillery uses direct-fired stills.
Glenfarclas is independent and has been family run for over 150 years.
The nose is rich, with dried fruits, Christmas cake, roasted hazelnuts, polished wood and a flicker of smoke. The palate is dense, with dark sherry, toffee, spiced orange and malted biscuit. The finish is long, warming and slightly dry, with oak, clove and candied fruit.
