This is a 15-year-old Speyside single malt from Glenfarclas, bottled by the distillery at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is natural colour and non-chill-filtered.
The nose brings deep sherry notes and sweet malt together with green apple, apricot and a hint of grass. The palate is full, with malt and sherry sweetness alongside fine chocolate, juicy orange and a restrained touch of smoke and black pepper. The finish is long, with firm oak tones rounded off by the fruity bitterness of orange peel.
