A 15 year old single malt from Glenfarclas, bottled at 43% ABV in a 75cl bottle and dating from the 1970s.
The nose is complex and old in character, with dense sultanas, crystallised fruit, dates and very old, oxidised sherry. There are also notes of old books and paper, worn leather, furniture wax and pipe tobacco, over a faintly dusty, mineral background.
The finish is very long and dry, leaving fine woods, bitter cocoa and dried citrus peel, with a slight smoky, earthy trace.
