Glenfarclas – 2005 Single Cask #2425 Tiger's Finest Selection (70cl, 60.7%)

This is a Glenfarclas single cask whisky from the Tiger's Finest Selection, distilled in 2005 and bottled in January 2015 exclusively for the Taiwanese market. It comes from cask 2425 and is bottled at 60.7% ABV. The release was limited to 635 bottles, each of 70cl. Glenfarclas is a Speyside distillery that has remained in family ownership since its founding, and the Grant family is named in connection with this whisky. Tasting notes mention citrus zest and spice on the nose, rich honey and dark chocolate on the palate, and a warming finish of spiced oak with a touch of dried fruit.
