This is a 21-year-old single malt from Glenfarclas in Speyside, Scotland, matured in a 4th fill butt and bottled at a natural cask strength of 58.9% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The whisky was distilled in 1996 and matured for 21 years. It is a single cask in the Family Cask series, with an outturn of 515 bottles. The tasting notes describe a more spirit-driven Glenfarclas. The nose has dried fruits, malt, oak, vanilla and gentle spice, the palate fruit sweetness, nuts, caramel and warming spices, and the long finish combines oak with subtle sherry character.
