A 25 year old Speyside single malt from Glenfarclas, a long-established family-owned distillery. It was matured entirely in Oloroso sherry casks and is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It won gold at the 2019 International Spirits Challenge.
The nose opens with a touch of menthol and classic sherry notes. The palate is clean and tangy, with sherry, creamy barley, gingerbread and nutty chocolate. The finish is very long and oak-rich, with hints of smoke, cocoa and butter.
