Glenfarclas 25 Year Old is a Highland single malt, amber in colour with dark gold highlights, bottled at 43% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
The nose is complex yet refined, with a delicate hint of peat alongside marmalade, honey, freshly ground coffee, sherry, nuts and some oaky tannins. On the palate it is full-bodied, with sherry and oak in balance and a powerful nutty smokiness.
The finish is long, dry, smoky and malty, with a note of dark Belgian chocolate at the back of the mouth.
