Glenfarclas 25 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from Ballindalloch in Speyside, at the foot of Ben Rinnes, bottled at 43% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It spent all 25 years in Oloroso sherry casks, which give it a deep amber colour.
The distillery has been owned by the Grant family since 1865.
The nose is marmalade, honey, ground coffee and sherry-soaked nuts. The palate is full-bodied, with sherry and oak in balance. The finish is long and dry, malty, with a dark chocolate tail.
