Glenfarclas 25 Year Old is a single malt from the Glenfarclas distillery in Scotland, in a 70cl bottle that comes in a tube.
The whisky spent twenty-five years maturing in oak casks, which gave it a deep amber colour. The distillery works with copper stills.
On the nose there is sweet sherry, ripe fruit, chocolate and a little spice. The palate is soft and enveloping, with honey, vanilla and dried fruit, and the long finish carries a light spiciness and a touch of smoke.
