Glenfarclas 25 is a single malt matured for 25 years in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks, which give it depth of flavour and a rich colour.
The flavours run to dark chocolate, dried fruit such as figs and sultanas, spice and toffee, with a touch of oak and vanilla and a sweetness from the sherry. The texture is full-bodied and velvety.
The finish is long and warming, with fruit and spice lingering.
