Glenfarclas £511.19s.0d Family Reserve is a Speyside single malt bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It was released in 2015 to mark 150 years of ownership by the Grant family, and its name is the sum paid for the distillery in 1865. The whisky is predominantly aged in first-fill Spanish Oloroso sherry butts. It is typically described as sweet and rich, with roasted almonds, honey, toffee, dried fruit and gentle cinnamon spice, ending in a warm, gently lingering oak finish.
