Glenfarclas 70 Year Old is a Speyside single malt and the oldest release the distillery has produced. It was distilled on 20 November 1953 and matured for seventy years in sherry casks.
The whisky spent those decades in the distillery's dunnage warehouses. Glenfarclas remains family owned and is one of the few independent distilleries left in Scotland. This bottling is a release of 262 bottles.
