Glenfiddich 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky in a one-litre bottle. Its whiskies are matured for 12 years in American bourbon and Spanish sherry casks.
Malt Master Brian Kinsman marries them in large oak tuns for up to three months. The distillery has drawn on the same spring water since 1887.
The nose is fresh and fruity, with a hint of pear. Sweet, fruity notes on the palate give way to butterscotch, cream, malt and subtle oak, and the finish is long, smooth and mellow.
