Glenfiddich – 12 Year Old Single Malt (75cl)

Glenfiddich 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, in a 750ml bottle. It is matured for 12 years in American bourbon and Spanish sherry casks. The whiskies are then combined in large oak marrying tuns, where they rest for up to three months before bottling. Glenfiddich describes this as a family tradition and says it is the only whisky company to use such tuns. The nose is fresh and fruity, with a hint of pear. The palate is sweet and fruity, moving through butterscotch, cream, malt and subtle oak, and the finish is long, smooth and mellow.
