This is Glenfiddich 12 Year Old, a Speyside single malt in a large 1.75 litre bottle.
The whisky matures for 12 years in American bourbon and Spanish sherry casks. The malts are then married for up to three months in large oak tuns.
The nose is fresh and fruity with a hint of pear. On the palate, sweet and fruity notes lead into butterscotch, cream, malt and subtle oak. The finish is long, smooth and mellow.
