Glenfiddich – 12 Year Old (75cl, 40%)

Glenfiddich 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle. It is distilled at the Glenfiddich Distillery in Dufftown, built by William Grant and his family in 1887 and still family-owned. The whisky is aged for 12 years in American and European oak casks, then married in oak tuns before bottling. The tasting notes describe a fresh, fruity nose of ripe pear. On the palate come butterscotch and malt, developing into creamy oak and subtle spice, with a long, smooth and mellow finish.
