Glenfiddich 125th Anniversary is a limited-edition Speyside single malt marking the distillery's anniversary. It was released in 2012, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle, and was first sold through travel retail. It reflects the work of Brian Kinsman, Glenfiddich's sixth Malt Master.
The whisky combines peated and unpeated spirits, matured in Spanish ex-sherry butts and American ex-bourbon casks.
The nose is juicy peach, marmalade, dried apricots, vanilla, nutmeg and seasoned European oak. The palate brings vanilla, rich oak, smoked fruits and woody spices with a smooth, slightly oily texture. The medium-length finish is dry and smoky, with a touch of spiced fruit.
