A 14 year old single malt from Glenfiddich, matured in ex-bourbon American oak casks and then finished in charred new American oak barrels from the Kelvin Cooperage in Louisville, Kentucky.
The nose has deep vanilla with citrus, caramelised brown sugar and cinnamon, alongside baked apple, ripe summer fruit and oak. On the palate are creamy toffee, woody spices, candied orange peel and toasted oak, followed by a long finish with a lingering, warming sweetness.
