Glenfiddich 15 Year Old is a Speyside single malt at 40% ABV, made at the distillery in Dufftown and sold in a 750ml bottle.
The whisky is matured for fifteen years in European oak sherry casks, new oak casks and American oak bourbon casks, then married in Glenfiddich's Oregon pine Solera vat. The vat has been kept at least half full since 1998, and the oldest whiskies in it date to 1983.
It is golden with a red hue. The nose offers heather honey, vanilla fudge and dark fruits, the palate is silky with sherry oak, marzipan, cinnamon and ginger, and the finish is rich and sweet, closing on honey and oak.
