Glenfiddich 18 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from Dufftown, Scotland, bottled at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It was matured for 18 years in a combination of Oloroso sherry casks and American oak bourbon barrels, and each small batch is married in wooden tuns.
The nose offers dried fruit, baked apple, cinnamon, oak spice, caramelised sugar and a little floral honey. The palate is velvety, with toffee, dark fruit, warm baking spice, toasted oak, vanilla and sherry sweetness. The finish is long and warming, with lingering oak, spice and soft fruit.
