Glenfiddich – 18 Year Old Small Batch Reserve Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky (75cl)

An 18 year old single malt from Glenfiddich, the Speyside distillery in Dufftown founded by William Grant in 1887. The Small Batch Reserve is made in individually numbered batches of no more than 150 casks, which are married for three months in oak tuns before bottling. Oloroso sherry casks make up 18 to 20 per cent of each batch and give the whisky much of its character. The nose offers ripe orchard fruit, baked apple and robust oak. On the palate come dried fig, spiced apple, toffee and sherry sweetness, and the finish is long and warm with lingering vanilla and oak.
