Glenfiddich Gran Cortes is a 22 year old Speyside single malt, finished in Paolo Cortado sherry casks. It is bottled at 44.3% and sold in a 70cl bottle.
William Grant built the distillery in 1886, and it distilled its first spirit on Christmas day the following year. It is still part of the family-owned William Grant & Sons. In 1963 Glenfiddich became the first distillery to market a single malt brand actively, and it was also the first to open its doors to visitors.
