Glenfiddich 23 Year Old Grand Cru is a single malt from the Glenfiddich distillery in Speyside, Scotland, in a 70cl bottle. It spends more than two decades maturing in American and European oak, then receives a final finish in casks that previously held Champagne Grand Cru wine.
The nose combines apple, pear and citrus with honey, vanilla, a hint of brioche, hazelnut and almond. The palate is velvety, balancing sweetness with a mineral freshness. The finish is long, with light notes of Champagne yeast and eastern spice.
