Glenfiddich – 29 Year Old Grand Yozakura

Glenfiddich 29 Year Old Grand Yozakura is a special-edition single malt from the Glenfiddich Distillery in Speyside. It celebrates the blooming of Japanese cherry blossom. The whisky was matured in Japanese Awamori casks, the first single malt to be matured this way. Awamori is a rice spirit from the island of Okinawa, and here it adds a distinctive floral character. The bottle has an engraved stopper topped with a cloth on which a poem is written. On the nose, ripe fruit, toffee and oak spice sit alongside that floral note.
