This is a 31 year old Glenfiddich single malt, bottled in 2024 at 47.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle. A limited release, it is the first from the distillery to use red wine casks from Bordeaux in France.
The whisky was finished in those casks for nine years, which adds depth and nuance to its flavour. The Grand Château name comes from a design partnership with the French artist André Saraiva.
