Glenfiddich – 40 Year Old Cumulative Time Single Malt Scotch Whisky

This is a 40 year old single malt from Glenfiddich, made by a method known as remnant vatting. The Malt Master hand selects individual casks and marries them with what remains from the previous 40 year old vatting, so the whisky is always at least 40 years old. It is presented in a hand-stitched calf-leather case with embossed detail and a lock and key. The flavour is described as rich and deep, with intense dried fruit: Christmas cake, dates, raisins and stewed apples.
