An 8 year old Glenfiddich from the 1970s, in a 75cl bottle at 43% ABV. It is the core-range whisky of the time, in the triangular bottle designed in 1956 and first used for Glenfiddich in 1961.
The 1970s was the first decade to carry the stag logo. The label gave the words Pure Malt more prominence than single malt until the year 2000. Glenfiddich sold different age statements in different markets then, and this 8 year old was mainly sold in Italy.
