This is a limited-edition Glenfiddich 16 Year Old from Speyside, created to mark the distillery's partnership with the Aston Martin Formula One Team. It comes in a 75cl bottle.
The whisky was married from three types of cask: American oak wine casks, new American barrels and second-fill bourbon casks.
The nose is rich and sweet, with biscuity cheesecake base, maple syrup, caramelised ginger and a little toasted oak. The palate is confectionery-sweet with a silky, syrupy texture, and the finish keeps its sweetness for a long while.
