This is a 16-year-old Glenfiddich single malt from Speyside, made as part of the five-year partnership between Glenfiddich and the Aston Martin Formula One Team, announced in November 2024. It is Limited-Edition Release No. 2, bottled at 43% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
The whisky was matured in five types of cask: first-fill bourbon barrels, port pipes, Oloroso sherry casks, wine casks and a final touch of fino sherry butts. Its idea comes from Malt Master Brian Kinsman and the team's Technical Partner Adrian Newey, who share a belief in the detail beneath the surface.
The tasting notes describe rich stewed fruit, silky sweetness and long-lasting oaky richness.
