Glenfiddich Bourbon Barrel Reserve is a 14 year old Speyside single malt bottled at 43% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It was matured in ex-bourbon American oak casks, then finished in deep-charred new American oak barrels from the Kelvin Cooperage in Louisville, Kentucky.
Malt Master Brian Kinsman created it as a US-exclusive expression, and it is kosher certified.
The colour is burnished copper. The nose offers vanilla, citrus, caramelised brown sugar, cinnamon, baked apple and ripe summer fruit. The palate is rich and sweet, with creamy toffee, woody spice, candied orange peel and toasted oak. The finish is long, with a gentle sweetness.
