Glenfiddich Experimental Series #04 Fire & Cane is a Speyside single malt bottled at 43% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It was released in 2018 as the fourth bottling in the Experimental Series.
The whisky marries Glenfiddich's rare peated spirit with its classic unpeated spirit. Both were matured in ex-bourbon casks, and the vatting then spent about three months in casks that previously held South American rum.
The nose offers soft peat, campfire smoke, toffee, fresh zesty fruit and gentle spice. On the palate, oak and toffee meet green fruit, baked apple and soft smoke. The finish is lingering, smoky and sweet.
