Glenfiddich – Fire & Cane (70cl, 43%)

Glenfiddich Fire & Cane is a single malt from the distillery's Experimental Series. It is bottled at 43% vol. in a 70cl bottle. The whisky matured in bourbon casks and was then finished in ex-rum casks. It is smokier than Glenfiddich usually is: 'Fire' points to campfire aromas, and 'Cane' to sweet sugar cane. The nose offers exotic fruit, sweet caramel and fine smoke. On the palate there is soft smoke, caramel, oak, fresh fruit and spice. The finish is long, with delicate smoke and lightly sweet notes.
