Glenfiddich Grand Cru is a 23-year-old Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40% ABV. It was created by Malt Master Brian Kinsman.
After 23 years in American and European oak at the distillery in Dufftown, the whisky is moved into French cuvée casks, of the kind historically used for sparkling wine. It comes in a gift box.
The nose is described as white blossom, freshly baked brioche, pear sorbet and vanilla oak. On the palate come sweet peach, apple tart and creamy oak, with hints of baked bread and citrus zest. The finish is long, with a delicate sweetness and a touch of spice.
