Glenfiddich – Grand Cru 23 Year Old (75cl, 40%)

Glenfiddich Grand Cru 23 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from Dufftown, bottled at 40% in a 750ml bottle. It was the first expression in the distillery's Grand Series, released in September 2019 and created by Malt Master Brian Kinsman. The whisky spent 23 years in American and European oak, then was finished for up to six months in French cuvée casks. These are French oak casks that previously held the first fermentation of wine destined to become Champagne. The nose offers apple blossom, freshly baked bread and candied lemon. The palate brings rich vanilla oak, sweet brioche, sandalwood, pear sorbet and white grape, followed by a long, opulent, sweet finish.
