Glenfiddich Grande Couronne is a 26-year-old Speyside single malt, bottled in 2021 at 43.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is a limited edition, and the name is French for "Great Crown".
The whisky spent more than two decades in American and European oak before an extended finish in French cognac casks.
The nose is full of patisserie sweetness, with baked tarte tatin and toasted oak. The palate is smooth and rich, with café crème and a silky body, and the finish is long and velvety, with a gentle hint of spice and oak.
