Glenfiddich Grande Couronne 26 Year Old is a limited edition single malt matured for 26 years, with more than two of those years spent in French cognac casks. The name means 'grand crown' in French, and the whisky comes in a presentation bottle and box.
The nose is lively, with toasty oak sweetness and the character of a French patisserie, including freshly baked tarte Tatin and buttery choux pastry. The palate is deep, velvety and sweet, with café crème, soft brown sugar and a hint of spice. The finish is very long, with sweet oak.
