This is a 1980s release of Glenfiddich Special Old Reserve, bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle. It belongs to the core range and comes in the triangular bottle designed for the company in 1956 and first used for Glenfiddich in 1961. The label reads Pure Malt, the wording Glenfiddich preferred for its flagship until 2000, even though it was the first single malt brand in the world. William Grant built the distillery in 1886, and it remains part of family-owned William Grant & Sons.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
