This is a 19 year old Glenfiddich single malt, matured in ex-bourbon barrels and sold in a 75cl bottle. Glenfiddich is still owned by the Grant family, who run it alongside Balvenie.
The whisky spends the full 19 years in ex-bourbon barrels, which lets vanilla, fruit and spice come through.
The finish is rich with toffee and vanilla, reminiscent of creme brulee, and lasts for minutes.
