Glenfiddich Winter Storm is a 21 year old malt whisky at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is finished in Canadian ice wine casks.
Honey, beeswax and caramel show on the nose, and the sweetness of the ice wine is easy to recognise. The palate is fruity, mostly melon and raisin, with some toffee and pear, oak and a leaning towards spice: vanilla, cinnamon, then white pepper. The finish brings grape skin and a little smoke.
